Apple move pakes podcast more mainstream

The Apple announcement yesterday that it is modifying its iTunes software to include a podcast directory is welcome. This development, while small in software terms, makes podcasts more mainstream and puts more pressure on mainstream content providors to use the podcast channel. The Apple endorsement will set more stories free to find welcoming ears.
