The Chat branded crossword titles are not good sellers in any of our newsagencies. We are giving them a final chance by placing them away from the crossword section and with the Chat weekly magazine. With our crossword category growing more than 20% year on year and these Chat titles going nowhere this latest move is their only hope of staying with us.

As the Circulation manager for Lovatts Publications. I visit many Newsagents around Australia. Your comments regarding the sales, or more to the point lack of sales of many of the overseas crosswords is repeated over and over again. I fail to see why many agents continue to tie up your valuable space and a drain your overdraft with non selling products. Be selective, reduce your range and financial outlay. Give better displays for the best selling titles and improve your income
