Selling Optus prepaid

selling_optus.JPGWhen we realised that the best options for selling Optus prepaid was to revert to physical stock we groaned. Today, eight weeks on, it is working a treat. Selling is much faster than through the Dialtime terminal. Scanning the cards gives us good stock control and the supply chain is more cerain. We have managed around our initial frustration and everyone is happy.

our girls say too they are much quicker than waiting for a printout.

we were selling them before bill exp but customers seemed to prefer voucher format then. however since we reverted back to physical cards, haven’t heard much of a complaint!!

guess the only downside is the cash outlay in keeping stock available.

Isn’t it possible to sell Boost as Optus? We have been doing it with no complaints.

I’m under the impression that we are making 3% more in commission so in the long run, we will be better off.

Good thing about the physical recharge cards is that you make more money on it. Touch network only give 5% commission on the Vodafone and Optus Recharge. That is up to 3% difference in commission with actual physical cards. If we sell $1000 worth of card every month, it means $30 difference. How about if we sell $3000, $5000, or even $10000? see the difference?
