Vodafone selects e-pay

Vodafone has announced that it has appointed e-pay Australia as its exclusive distributor of Vodafone prepaid recharge products via retail channels. For some months Vodafone has also supplied through TAFMO. This relationship appears to be at an end. Newsagents using the eziPass platform from my software company can access Vodafone recharge product direct from e-pay.

Rick not less. Some of the telcos just reduced margins across the board.

To get the higher rebate you need to be selling handsets.

yes i am aware of that, i do sell handsets that is why i am on higher margins with epay, seems to be a drawn out process if i need to go thru the same process with touch to show i sell handsets (must already be in the system)much easier to stay with epay is it not?

ePay service is poor and their range of products not as good. Newsagents can make their own choice however.

yes your right, prtty easy decision, go with the higher margins. my original point had more to do with why the difference in margins? surely my details are already with the telcos so they know i sell handsets, i spoke to touch, they put me onto PPS, who in turn said i need to contact the telco, that is a prospect i am not even considering, anyone tried to talk to either telstra or optus about anything? impossible to even get a human on the phone to talk to
