The UK Periodical Publishers Association launched a carbon calculator for magazines at the Fipp 2009 World Magazine Congress in London yesterday. This is an important move which facilitates publisher interest in environmentally aware publishing.

It’s pleasing to see something like that. I’d be interested to see it work in Australia with re-issues and bagged bonus magazines.
A lot of diesel is burned just for that marketing ploy.
