Swine flu and shopping

News the swine flu diagnosis for a student of a school located very close to a centre in which I have a shop spread through the centre like, well, an epidemic.  Fellow retailers are bracing for a very quiet weekend as people stay away from the area.

Same type of thing in SEQLD at the moment. With weather warnings going on and some sources telling people to stay indoors.

A very slow trading week, gratefully due to the weather.

Very slow this week too here in Perth with the sudden arrival of wintery conditions after what was a summer that almost never ended. My customer count is down about 25% compared to my average weekly customers in the past 2mths, yet sales are only down about 10%. Guess all the small sales add up.

Very quiet week here on the Sunshine Coast. Our first week that we’ve been down on sales. Terrible weather and not much traffic around.
