Memo to NDD: Art Almanac does not sell

art_almanac.JPGArt Almanac does not sell in our newsagency.  The sales data shows this to be the case yet we continue to receive plenty of stock of this title from NDD.  Indeed, we receive plenty of art titles from NDD, none of which pays for the space they use.  I am happy to carry special interest titles - if they sell.

Maybe someone will move into your area that will like art?

It is interesting, we have found when we place art almanac and art gallery guide on the counter they walk out the door. If we place them with the other art books they do not sell as well. It seems that they are a real impulse buy.

At the end of the day, if it’s been tried and does not sell, the Newsagent SHOULD be able to cancel the title. *No one rides for free.
