fhn_papers_lottery.JPGWe have made some changes at our busiest lottery country to try and lift newspaper sales.  The Herald Sun impulse stand has been moved to the left, to a location where it will be seen by more people lining up to purchase.  We usually have a magazine offer in this location - most recently Top Gear Australia.

just my opinion but the counter looks very crammed.Wouldn’t 1 or 2 things look better than all those units?

Mary the photo is at close range, the is more space than it shows. While it may look more attractive with just one or two items on display, sales (dollars) are what drive our placement choices.

I will defend Mark as I have been to his newsagency. The Tattersalls counter is not as cluttered as this photo appears. In fact I came back to my shop and copied what he has done.
