The old XchangeIT to close January 12

The old XchangeIT EDI platform for newsagents is to close permanently on the afternoon of Tuesday January 12, 2010.  With all but 120 newsagents having now successfully migrated to the new XchangeIT Link, the time is right to once and for all kill off this old technology.

Newsagents not running the new platform need to make plans ASAP otherwise they will not receive electronic invoices for magazines.

FYI, Tower Systems is running free online training workshops on magazine management.  these include considerable information on the new XchangeIT Link platform.  The next session is today at 11am – but there are only two places left.

    Hi,A bit off topic but,
Have heard from a very reliable source
here in n.s.w that regarding the sale of NDD,Gordon and Gotch have 99% got it tied up and will be taking over everything if goes to plan in the next 3 – 6 months from ndd.And also that TOLL transport who deliver the magazines in alot of areas are looking at trying to get out of their agreements with the distributors because they are losing big money,And that 1st fleet who used to deliver in some areas could start delivering again if they can get a better deal than before with the distributors. So It could mean In the next
3 – 6 months that theres only 2 magazine distributors to deal with.Things are really changing.
    cheers
