Network Services invoices problem for WA & SA newsagents

Senior management from Network Services advises they are working on a problem with electronic invoices delivered through XchangeIT for WA and SA newsagents for tomorrow. I’ll share here anything further I hear.

UPDATE: Network advises that an update at 6PM should see all missing files dispatched.

    Thank you Mark.

We can now make amended plans re the selling of these magazines to multiple subagents.

What does it tell you about the culture within NS & Xit that the only information we could gain from ANY source was right here on Mark Fletchers Blog.

    Well done Mark.

Communication is a wonderful business and life tool. Perhaps someone with contact numbers could pass that onto the CEO of NS so that he can put a simple communication system in place for whenever significant issues arise.

    Congratulations to Mark Fletcher …

SA & WA newsagents have been down by Network Services.

Mark thank you from all SA HD guys for your efforts.

Now it’s up to the ANF to lobby and ensure this never happens again.

    Regards

John technology being what it is it’s likely to happen again. In this instance we were lucky that a senior Network Services person saw the email late last night.

I know a bit about running a 24/7 help desk. To avoid this in the future, either the magazine distributors or XchangeIT as their proxy need to offer genuine 24/7 coverage. No matter how they do it their costs will rise.
