Oversupply of AWW cookbooks

aww-oversupplyHere is another example of Bauer sending our magazine stock unnecessarily. We received more copies of monday to friday diet when we still had plenty of stock of the first issue of this title. This is not sales based replenishment – no, it’s an abuse of the newsagency magazine supply model. We early returned the extra stock.

Mark, I am extremely frustrated with the AWW cookbooks. We have been trying to get hold of AWW Cookies for a customer and keep being told there are none available, the customer even tore out the ad from a copy of AWW for the book and we placed the order that week . Imagine my surprise months later when the LPO next door now have a copy on display. The same when we tried to get AWW Chinese non in stock, then out of the blue 5 arrive.
WTF are these distributors up to, customer service seem to have no clue what is going on or care.

Gregg I’d write to Matt Stanton, the CEO of Bauer Australia about this. The changes to supply are one reason I am pulling out of the space. It’s bee trashed over the last couple of years.
