magsdaphnesdiaryWe are promoting Daphne’s Diary magazine – a publication in the form of a diary. ┬áIt appeals to an important demographic for us. Sourced through Gotch, this is a challenging magazine to place – challenging in a good way. We have it next to home and living titles and near Frankie. The Daphne’s Diary website provides a good insight into their target customer.

Great new magazine, issue one sold well (9 copies) and have sold two of issue 2 this morning.
Worth a try if you don’t already stock it.

Where can I buy this magazine in Sydney, please?

Hi Margaret, I am located in Sutherland and have this in stock if that helps.

Any local newsagent can source this title for you.

I only became aware of this magazine through this post. The cover alone makes it worth giving a try so I have now placed it on order. Why do the magazine distributors send us crap we don’t want when titles like this are available and they don’t even make every outlet aware of it?

Brendan I think it’s just the luck of the draw.
We were lucky enough to receive this magazine and I was lucky enough that my staff saw that I would want it kept, they placed it at front of shop and we sold half a dozen copies within a week.
I want more of this as I am getting fed up with supermarkets stealing my sales.
Frankie was a great seller but now its only a good seller because it is the supermarket and I see the local boarding school girls purchase it there with there lollies and stationery.

I live in the Netherlands, and buy this magazine for a while now. Altough i think the English version is better. Love it, and send it over to a friend of mine in Australia. I’m sure the Australian people will love it too.

i discovered this magazine last year as i work in Moura News in Queensland…i have since recommended to several regular customers and i so look forward to each new issue…it is great reading from cover to cover but i dont have the heart to use all the bits and pieces from it because it is just such and elegant book …i have created my own copy of DD with all the hints and recipes while the originals remain intact

I purchased this at Southern Cross station over the weekend to read on the train – absolutely beautiful.
I think this is the way to go for magazines, because the experience woudl be completely different online – unlike some publications.I checked their website, and although that is fun too, this mag is more like a Coffee TAble Book you might read multiple times.
I encourage all newsagencies to stock it. I am promoting it to my Craft Customers (have a craft shop) and I am asking my local newsagent to be sure to stock it.

Hi – I am looking to buy the set from vol 1 2013 through to now – doe anyone have them or able to get them in – if so what would the cost be? Jan

  • 24 Chris // May 16, 2015 at 4:51 PM

    Hi Jan,

You are best getting in contact with the Publisher as we newsagents send back to our distributors any unsold stock at the end of sale periods. Try online as I know you can get the whole backlist on their website. Anyone else got any ideas??

How did I miss this. Was looking for a colouring book and found the diary next to some. I really should put the grocerys away but I haven’t put it down since I got home. I got it from Devonport, Tasmania.
