Making the most of the AFL season start

aflcounterWe promoting AFL products in multiple locations in-store with the season close to starting. We have products where appropriate to our various shopper profiles. For example, collector cards are at the counter as this is where they work best – 50/50 purchased on impulse and destination. Our season guides are with newspapers and sports titles as this is where they sell from.

I’m in NSW, and have a customer that wishes to buy a full box of the AFL cards. However when I try to order these through Netonline, they are reporting as out of stock….not helpful at all

try ordering 432 which is 1 case (12 boxes of 36 packets).

although case cards (rare players who has reached 300games, 1 per case) are mysteriously gone on any cases we get from Network. so if that’s the reason for wanting a case, don’t order from network.

Hi, I spoke with Scott (?) the collectables manager there and he was most helpful. He said there is stock available for both NRL/AFL, just place a ‘backorder’ and it will be delivered next delivery day. There are a few agents out there that order thousands of cards unwarranted and he tracks the orders and pushes them out via this method where there is more scrutiny. I also asked about the case cards for NRL and got myself a full 432 – 12 boxes but had to specify I wanted a full case it because of the case card. (King Wally!) Sometimes you just have to ask guys. I’m v happy with the service so far even though I had to do a little more work.
