Today is one of those days when customers will talk a bit longer at the newsagency counter following news of the tragic death of Robin Williams. Everyone has a movie, a comedy routine or some other happy memory of the genius of Robin Williams. Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, Mrs Doubtfire – the list of mesmerising performances is long.

I wish I was at the shop today the shared memories would be heartwarming.

    A very sad day indeed.
I would add The World According to Garp, Patch Adams and The Birdcage.

    Dreadfully sad.

A reminder for all that struggle with depression. Reach out. Reach out to anyone. Help us to understand, help us to help you. It is so sad that it is only after such a tragedy that we take the time to express our appreciate and gratitude for a fellow human being.

I have been teary all day. RIP Mr Williams…

Not to mention some of his early stand up such as Raw and Delirious (not for children)

Dean, they were Eddie Murphys. Robin Williams Live is the one your thinking of…..bloody hilarious stuff.

    R.I.P Mr Williams

It is sad this morning that the people at News Ltd show no thought by expecting us/customers to remove Robin’s head on the front page of the Courier to get the coupon for the DVD. Yesterday it was the only print on the front page. Does anybody there think or does one arm not know what the other does.

Was just thinking the exact same thing Richard. I dont think I will be collecting coupons today.

    Poor oversight by News.
