Lego at Officeworks

IMG_2639 (1)While independent toy retailers including newsagents struggle to get the Lego products they want, Officeworks has a range of Lego stationery. I saw it in the Sydney CBD store, at the front of the business in prime location. This range wold be ideal in newsagencies.

Lego is a very interesting proposition. With Lego formally announcing that it wants to cut the number of retailers it has and by the way it limits it output the money making potential for those with access to it is enourmous. I’m aware of a retailer who over the course of one of the specialist Lego show weekends can turn upwards of $60K of Lego stock.

BTW, those erasers in the picture I don’t believe are under any sort of retailer embargo so should be available to source from somewhere.

GNS are offering Lego as part of it’s “Back To School” promotion. The Lego Buildable Ruler, Lego Erasers, Gel Pens 3 pack and 9 pack, Pencil Box, Pencil Sharpeners and Pencils are all accessible online for pre-ordering right now.

    David,
Any reason why GNS is not offering it as part of Christmas? Grandparents like to start to buy grandkids BTS stuff for Christmas as stocking fillers

If officeworks have this stuff available now, why are we waiting til January to get it on the shelf? Already behind the 8 ball
