Fairfax using print to drive online traffic

This Tweet from Tim Burrowes demonstrates ridiculous action by Fairfax in my view – to read the rest of the column you have to go online where you have to pay to get to the column after paying a hefty cover price for the ever thin Australian Financial Review.

    have not had the Financial review for 2 years now and have not had hardly anyone ask for it even during tourist season

    Another annoying habit is reprinting whole articles from the economist. Saves on employing journalists.
