Specialist magazine distributor Speedimpex has introduced a charge of $3.50 per delivery to newsagents in South Australia and Queensland. Several newsagents have contacted me to express frustration with the move. I agree, it’s an additional cost on an already slim margin product category.

I also noticed that we are now charged $1 for each xChangeIT invoice they send through. I’d suggest that I’m now only looking at break even on their titles. I’ll have to make a decision as to whether I’ll still take these titles or if I’ll cut them altogther – even for the 3 or 4 put away customers that I have.
