Bauer increases Women’s Weekly supply by 44% for no reason

IMG_7857Bauer Media increase supply of the Australian Women’s Weekly for a newsagent by 44% yesterday for no reason in sales history as data in the screenshot indicate. Even with the terrific Julia Morris cover story the increase is not justified.

This unwarranted oversupply is a waste of paper, labour, fuel and space. But Bauer would have known this. The oversupply makes a mockery of what they recently told the ACCC they want to do in relation to magazine supply.

I WOULD LIKE THAT instead they send me not enough and then 1 at a time on SBR . AWW is one of those tittles that if you have enough stock and do a display you can move them ,same as Better Homes and gardens

Shaun that’s nuts. I’d drop you over some extra stock but it’s a bit far.

Murray you are too far away for me to deliver the extras. On BHG, this is the best performing monthly in Australia. To sell the extras: put it right ow next to your top selling daily newspaper, put it at the counter, put it next to your top selling weeklies. It performs well as an impulse purchase item.

Ours have only just arrived. I hope they have increased mine as requested because our tourist season is in full swing. I wish they would get it into their heads that we in the north have a tourist book in your winter time.

Carol your two comments came through. The Captcha is designed to stop bots attacking. Look at the text carefully.

Mark , I know its a top selling mag but trying to sell 179 in a month might be a little bit too much I think
