Alpha joins the breast pack?

Maybe it’s just this issue but Alpha seems to be positioning itself more in line with FHM, Ralph and ZOO. The blokes on the cover for the past year have worked well with the magazine usually selling out. If we see more covers like this I think sales will fall.

I’m with you, first it was inside sport then mens health now Alpha. Sales of these publications will fall because only single young boys want to oggle at half naked girls without buying full adult mags. The average reader of sports orientated mags wants to read about sport and our sporting people, not cope a cheap perve. Look at all the so called mens interest mags and all you get is the same stuff, no content, half naked girls and little else. The first publication to stay true to itself will get the older male reader for life, I know I’m one who has stopped buying Mens health, inside sport, ralph, fmh,.

I’m with the both of you, Alpha got praise in the first couple of editions for focusing on the main-sporting issues, but now they put half-nacked girls on the front cover & talk about sex most of the issue. If we want nacked girls, we would buy the right magazine. That’s how magazines shut-down by not listening to what people want and following the trend. I agree the men do work on the front cover, but what’s with the big price increase? Issue 18 was $2 & now $2.50 (over a 25% increase on the last issue!)I’m going to stop buying Alpha if they keep doing what they’re doing now, I brought every issue and I’ve never seen Alpha like this before?????
