Storage boxes popular

boxes.JPGWe have been promoting storage boxes at the front of our newsagency for the last few weeks – as a give away with each box of Double-A paper purchased.

I was surprised today to see the Government owned Australia Post store opposite us promoting the sale of storage boxes. Huh! Was the display there previously? I don’t know. I am usually up to speed with what they display so I suspect it is new. Good on them – anything promoting plastic storage systems can only help our pitch.

    Scott,

We have been comparing Stationers Supply and have found it simply depends on the product. Some are cheaper, some are more expensive than GNS.

There online ordering system isnt fantastic, but it does the job. It has a couple of benifits in comparison to GNS – prices can be displayed when you search for products, and their description search is much better than that of GNS. Although GNS does have the added benefit of being able to add products to your order without leaving the search page – you have to go to the product page to do this on the Stationers Supply site.

All in all both online ordering systems could be done a LOT better. There are some very user friendly ones out there – these two just don’t make it into that category.

Variety is ok. To get decent access to range you will need to use both GNS and Stationers Supply – both don’t provide enough range on their own.

    Thats my take on it.
