Father’s Day book sale a hit

fday_booksale.JPGWe are running the newsXpress Father’s Day Book Sale at Forest Hill and it is working a treat.  The Father’s Day themed books are selling well as are the other more general books.  The sale is supported by professional catalogue which makes selling easier.  We have the sale tables on our dance floor with our Father’s Day gifts to the front and the side.

We have 3 book sales each year, Mothers day, Fathers Day and late November for Christmas. The sales are held in the casual lease area in front of coles supermarket in our centre and do extremely well with all books on a sale or return basis. We include some of our own stock of remainders as these have the high margin for us. I would encourage any newagents in shopping centres to consider a large scale sale in a casual lease lease location as one person can look after up to 20 tables of books and it is quite profitable if the casual lease rent s reasonable.
