Smart lottery pack

ilot_triple.JPGIntralot has put together two Triple Pix packs to connect with Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival. Each pack is made up three products, providing an opportunity to introduce customers to products they may not usually purchase. I like that it mixes two online games with a scratch ticket game.

I may be mistaken but I cannot recall such a packaged offer in Victoria. The point of sale material is bright and enticing.

    One of the newsagents in my area has recognised that Bingo this week is worth $1.2 million and is promoting the Snowball (whatever that is!). The other outlet has tired looking merchandise in the window. I wonder which one will have the better Intralot sales this week.

    Well it’s not before time and that Intralot have shown some initiative and produced something like this.

    Credit where it’s due, the poster is quite attractive and vibrant which will hopefully see this campaign be a success but IMO they’re only doing what they’re supposed to be doing and have a duty of doing and that’s helping their retailers market/sell their product. That being said i won’t be getting too carries away with my praise given it’s the only piece of decent instore marketing they’ve had in over 3 months.

    I’m not surprised the snowball jackpot has jackpotted so high. The law of averages will tell you when there’s a low volume of people playing these type games there’s much less chance of it going off. I don’t think it’s any coincidence either that the lucky lines went of a couple times in the first couple of weeks Intralot started (from memory) when it was all new and exciting but has continued to jackpot since people have dropped off.

    All i can say is thank god for Monday/Wednesday lotto coming in because soon enough it’ll help me to recoup the losses i’ve had from Intralot.
