It seems that some newsagents do not know that Bill Express is dead. I have seen several newsagencies this week with stickers and posters displaying Bill Express brands. Newsagents should check:
- Remove Bill Express light boxes or use them to promote current services.
- Remove BOPO stickers – usually placed near the entrance to the shop, on the door or window.
- Remove Bill Express and BOPO brochures, usually in a stand at the counter.
- Paint over Bill Express signs.
Out of date promotional material like this lets the whole newsagency channel down. It makes us look second rate, out of touch.
In fact, while removing this, take a look at the door, window and counter and remove any other out of date promotional messages. Less is more as they say.
Does anyone know what is going to happen with the large bill express screen? thanks
Andy i will pay the freight and you can send it to me as i only have a small tv at home and would like a big screen for xmass and the one BXP supplied me is only the small one
I recommend hanging it on the bedroom wall (take all that cross-bar stuff off), with your PC also plugged in, to watch DVDs.
Dick Smith can give you a universal remote for about $20.00
Not a bad picture.
popcorn, crumbs in the bed, slob-out.
The screen is a messy issue which, as I understand it, multiple perties are fighting over. Well, not fighting, they don’t know what to do.
There are the multiple bankers, the BXP liquidators, the OnQ administrators and a couple of parties circling the carcas.
People who have assessed the screen network have decided it has no value.
At some point newsagents will be told.

Exactly. Would it not cost any jackals more to dismount/collect all this gear than what they would make by selling it off?
Might as well tell the newsagents to do with the gear as they please.
As for the ‘contracts’, I think it’ll be a brave person or a fool who tries to collect back-rent or full-term rent now.
