Newsagent case on Award Modernisation

Click here to see a copy of the submission made by the QNF to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and lodged on behalf of Queensland Newsagents.  The AIRC website lists all submissions received.  The QNF is the only newsagent association listed as making a submission.

This is the kind of work newsagents want from their associations.  Thorough, professional and transparent.

As an ANF member I find it a little dissappointing there isn’t a similar proposal that covers all Newsagents. All the same well done to the QNF for a very well developed augument, let’s hope it doesn’t fall on deaf ears.

this is not a one off for the QNF, they are doing everything the ANF wont do. Last nights braodcast fax by the ANF was very disappointing but typical of their attitude to the industry. If they cant have things their way they make it a political football, I for one dont want the ANF doing anything that supposedly represent the newsagency industry, because they dont represent the majority within the industy anymore.
Keep up the goodwork QNF and Ann

Ann, welldone, I have been criticle in the past of how much you have to do. It is great to see some solutions and or action. I understand that these do take time and we can be in too much of a hurry.

    Cheers

Ann, well done, congrats to QNF for initiative however to the others its not a pat on the back that is needed it is support by membership and contribution that shows real alliance.
