Today is better than if it were a Tuesday before Christmas thanks of the Oz Lotto $90 Million Jackpot. I say better because this is about more than being busy. The customers are cheerful about the shared experience. They are enjoying being part of this. We are too, it’s busy and fun. Other products are selling too, icing on the cake.
I think one consequence of tonight’s jackpot may be lower than expected sales of magazines featuring Michael Jackson stories.
It’s quite insane really!! At times, we have people leaning on any flat surface nearby filling out forms!! Lotto desk, next door shop windows, our counter, the cafe next door. Amazing!!!
A queue of people 25 long all day, not one grumpy customer. Good luck all, I hope 90 win!

Bring on $150 million. What a day
Set up our newsagency with a 90 million Oz Lotto display(balloons and POS) on our main display area with coupons filled out with games and systems in holders. They sold very well throughout the day. We also set up our magazines in every stand we could find and placed them near our lotto counter. They also sold well. It was extra time and effort to put together our displays but it was well worth it. Bring on these jackpots.

I just wanted to ask you all how someone would go about distributing a product which my father has designed, which basically lets people manually enter a ticket for system 9 or 12 ,but for much less cost. It may encourage people to start syndicates more, and I envision it will only sell for around $6.00. He has done the maths, but needs help with getting it to the public! Any feedback would be great 🙂
