More newsagents benefit from electronic returns

The trial of the new XchangeIT platform and associated initiatives by magazine distributors has expanded this week with more newsagents engaged.  Being able to process returns, regular and supplementary, electronically and receiving an electronic confirmation almost immediately cuts magazine management time and improves cash-flow.

This is the most significant magazine management change (opportunity) for newsagents in years.

Shaun, I am speculating here but I’d expect it to be released in the next seven days.

I can see that it would improve magazine time management, but how does it improve cash flow? This week’s returns opened yesterday and today, and I will be submitting mine via the web at the end of today (only because a couple of the weekly mags in Tassie are off-sale tomorrow). I can’t see how cash flow is improved except if NDD is accepting supplementary returns this way.

Mark, ou say that you recieved emails with a monetary value, this happens when I do my returns through the distributors website. Are they saying that we will get our money faster or are they just telling us how much.
