Is this a stock scam?

I received a call from a Graham from G & N Leisure.  he wanted to know if I wanted the sunglasses stand ordered for one one my stores was to be supplied weith castors or not.  I said I knew nothing about this and that he should contact the store manager.

Graham called the store manager and advised that I had every bit of faith in her ability to make the decision about castors.  Our manager advised that she wasn’t aware that we were getting the sunglasses in.  he made it sound as if I wanted them.  I didn’t.

This sounds like a scam to me.

It is a scam, this bloke rang me and said that they were replacing my sunglasses stand with a new one and wanted to know when they could do it. The problem was that I didn’t stock their sunglasses and when I told my sunglasses supplier about it he told me that they have had this problem many times before with the same person

Off topic slightly, I had a chap telling me that he had 500 sunglasses that had been ‘overordered’ by Target and I could have them for $1.00 each. Sounded like the back of a truck discount to me and I sent him on his way.

I can also tell you first hand it’s a scam as i got done a ciouple months ago. I actually wrote a blog post on here around a month ago warning people about it but have no idea in which thread topic it was.

Perhaps Mark you have the ability to find all my posts here and copy and paste what i wrote back then about it. In any case, do NOT get caught out by this scam because that’s exactly what it is.

To their credit VANA sent out notification to members about this fellow back in March, May, and July so he has been active for for a while. It pays to have staff educated on this character and to be wary of others operating like this.

Dennis I resigned from VANA earlier this year and am therefore not receiving advice from them.
