NDD quick range review popular

Following my post last week about the NDD Quick Range Review service, a good number of newsagents have taken up the offer to have NDD review the supply range and make adjustments accordingly.

NDD assess title performance and recommends changes. Newsagents can have the recommendations implemented or adjust these further. The recommendations are provided with a sell-through graph showing performance trends for the store.

If you would like an NDD Quick range Review, please email quickrangereview@ndd.com.au with your newsagency details. They will do the analysis and email the report and recommendations to you.

The result is a better balanced portfolio of titles from NDD. The report helps drive better business decisions in that it alerts you to titles which are selling well – these are the titles you could push even further.

I don’t see how NDD would ahdere to the recommendations from their range review when I have used their standing order function to decrease constant oversupply in my range of magazines.

No sooner had I changed my supply in one, then the next one goes up in my next supply.
However should any of the more popular range like Delicious, Inside Out, Vogues titles and Vanity Fair sales fall in one month, the next month it’s adjusted downwards quickly.

Having now made two requests for a “quick” range review on 13/10 and again on 20/10, I am still waiting to hear from NDD despite emails from them acknowledging my requests and a promise that my range will be reviewed and the results emailed shortly (their words).

I am so glad that I didn’t ask for a “slow” range review.

They send an acknowledgement to say they received your request?

I just assumed that they completely ignored the email and never did anything about it.

It is merely window dressing by NDD because they will allocate the entire print quantity supplied by the publisher as has been reported on this blog before. Any reduction in supply to one newsagent will be allocated to another newsagent.
