Nonsense Paul. The e-reader marekt is hotting up in the US where these devices have been growing in popularity over the last three years. I am not commenting on whether we need them, just that they are popular as are downloads of products to read on them.
“One million sold in 08 potential to sell 8 million in 09” found this on a blog, these are not sales but production figures for gadgets, a sales tool to suck in investors in the next big thing. There is no correct sales figures for e readers it’s all production numbers. the only true figures to come out was the better than expected profit for ipods today. Is this is nonsense, well maybe but who knows.

There is a small reader survey in our local today about would you buy an digital book… one answer indicated they might consider it, the rest were negative ranging from…I prefer to turn a page to… I don’t need it.
