Two newsagencies robbed yesterday

Robberies in two newsagencies in Adelaide yesterday (one newsagent had $12,000 stolen) are a reminder of the need for tight security around cash at the counter and in the office. They also reinforce the importance of good security systems to gather evidence and act as a deterrent.

That’s just awful. If you’re in contact with these stores, can you please send our best wishes? 🙂

Sometimes we need a reminder of how vulnerable we are. Unfortunately such reminders often mean someone else has been robbed and traumatised.

The ones who will try to wheadle a response to a question as to whether we’re alone in the store or not give me the willies. It’s then I’ll point out that our security is good, and no matter how many cameras they can count, there are others they can’t see.
