Kudos to News Magazines for working to ensure aditional stock availability of the launch issue of the Master Chef magazine. Plenty of newsagents have ordered extra stock and while supply was a challenge earlier in the week. stock was flowing yesterday.
My stock arrived today , but didn;t some mention on here that they couldn’t get any exrtra stock

We received 10 extra copies today, but it is too little too late. We were informed from GG on Monday that they were out of stock so we informed our preorder customers of this and they went somewhere else, We were not told they would be available later in the week so we lost these sales and look like idiots. I now have 10 copies that I cannot give away as the demand has died off. It is either feast of famine for mags these days and with the sales data they are getting from xchangit it is not good enough.
I received a phonecall from G&G on Wednesday checking to see whether I would like extra stock. Received that today. Good one G&G.
We received an extra 50 copies this morning after selling 30 copies Mon to Wed. When I found out yesterday that our extra stock would be in this morning I wrote a note on the headers saying “Will be Back in stock Friday the 14th of May”. It seemed to have worked as we had sold another 11 copies before Lunch. I am little worried that we will sell out before the end of the weekend.
Ordered more (for the second time) and been cancelled – again. It seems they pick and choose who get them?

Out of the 50 copies received on Friday (see Renee’s post, #5) we have only 7 copies left.
22 were sold on Friday, and (currently) 21 sold today. Still 2 hours left of trading, and I expect them all to be gone by end of shift.
Sold all but 1 of MasterChef mags.
Still 30mins left but I’ve finished now.
