Frustrating Apple iPad customer service

I called Apple today wondering where my iPad 3G is given that it was bought and paid for close to three weeks ago.

After selecting a bunch of options on their phone system I got to speak to a human.  Well, I think she was.  The truth is that I got little more than canned answers and my name repeated every fourth word.  Ugh!

The Apple representative had absolutely no joy for me and no explanation as to how people could buy off the street today what I preordered and prepaid for three weeks ago and am yet to receive.

No matter how I couched my questions the canned answers kept coming.  What irritated me the most what that she understood my concerns and wanted to help me.  Not!

I preordered a June 7th dated iPad, up until thursday they hadn’t charged me (or any one) yet so I just cancelled my order and went and bought one.

Are you sure you’ve been charged?

I understood that I had been charged. The terms and conditions indicate that I would have had to cancel within 10 days of placing the order.

OH WELL you will just have to stick to reading the old papers just like back in the days before this technology came about .
Picture this sitting in the smoko room cup of coffee in one hand people talking all round you and a big paper sitting in front of you and everything you touch leaves black marks everywhere , oh they were they days i remember it just like yesterday ,oh thats right it was yesterday .

Bugger .. I’m a long time apple user, but have no love for Apple Australia .. it’ll come of ourselves, but yeah, no fair when I picked up one from JB on Saturday as a walkin.

Also a long time user of Apple.
This has always been the fear from dedicated supporters…..the popularity would grow to a point that they have become what we hate so much…..a large impersonal money making concern, like Microsoft. It has happened with Apple now bigger than Microsoft. 🙁

Quite frankly I am not impressed with the Ipad.
It lacks a lot of functions and is cloned to Apple.

To get a USB connection you need so many different plug ins.

Try and download / uplaod applications from a competitor and you have lots of woes.

    No multitasking.
No ability to show 16.9 movies as it is a 4.3 aspec ratio
    No Camera device
    No HDMI out
Does not support T Mobile and some other like products.
    Want more problems ????

Save your money and look forward to competitors products.
