I was surprised to see one pot cookbooks being offered with Good Food and Take 5. While I appreciate that the titles are targeting different shoppers, the common free gift theme runs the risk of diluting value – to my untrained mind at least. I like gifts which add to the experience of the magazine and which are different to gifts on other titles. The blackboard with the latest issue of donna hay magazine is a good example of a good gift in my view.
