We are promoting the Christmas issue of Homespun with newspapers this week. This is a left-field idea since it is not a title I would usually promote with newspapers. I figured that the Christmas theme might be enough to get intermittent purchasers of Homespun to pick up the title. I’ll try anything to make newspaper sales more efficient.
I’ll be interested to hear if you have any success, Mark. I assume that you’ve chosen to do this with the magazine because – for once – it’s not bagged with a freebie of some kind.

Given your post of today about craft magazines from Universal – this one in particular – I’d be interested in an update. Did you feel that the promotional positioning that you gave this issue help sales at all?
