AFL Grand Final Record opportunity missed

While a AFL Football Record has been produced for the AFL Grand Final replay tomorrow, this is not being distributed thorugh newsagents because a satisfactory arrangement has not been reached according to what I understand.  This is disappointing.  I am certain we would have sold more copies this week than we did for last week’s draw.

The Record is available direct from the publisher or at the MCG tomorrow.

Wow. Kick prospective game attendees when they’re down via the ticketing debacle.
Add insult to injury by telling those who didn’t get a ticket that they still have to go to the game to read about it.
    WTF???

we are in the heart of collingwood territory, and we would have sold out all copies.
people last week were buying multiple copies and this week would have been no different.

already the afl decided not to give club members the opportunity of getting their tickets over the counter, and many missing out because of no internet access or credit card ownership. now we have this slap in the face.

Is our retail channel on the nose? Surely our retail footprint is worth considering when trying to reach the masses?

I wonder which parties needed to come to an arrangement – the AFL and WHOM?
