Great calendar sales

calendars-jan15.JPGBeing the only calendar outlet left in the shopping centre is great for sales.  The photo is of most of our range as at yesterday. We will sell out without dropping our price below 50%.  Even at this discount we are in excellent shape thanks to great buying.  What a terrific calendars season it’s been!

Eric this blog post is not about any group. FYI, our calendars are at 50% off. Being bale to make more than 50% margin at this price is good business!

We had 5 stands of calendars early January but had about triple that during December. Calendars are great business if you have the traffic and space to stock a large and varied range. What we sell at 50%off would be less than 15% of our total sales and is still profitable.

Richard, not until well after June 30 and even then depending on stock levels.

We are now been chased by calendar publishers to put in our order for next year. Last year, our first our sales were disappointing and led to a loss in the department as we still have many left. i felt that perhaps our range was to expensive as well as having some from suppliers that were not local and had little appeal. Can you help with type and size and price and perhaps one or 2 suppliers names.
We are in a mid income residential area with a number of poms, south efricans and kiwis but not touristy.
