But why? In my experience, a large percentage of SMH readers like the broadsheet format (rather than tabloid).
Maybe it is just another move towards a common print facility in the longer term?
I’ve never understood the allure of a broadsheet format, way too unwieldy. But then, being a west aussie, we’re used to a smaller format.
