    I wont comment further on this, but this was one of the smarter & most logical comments to the story.

    “Let’s have some perspective. HVN related stores have $7.5 BILLION in sales. Milan Direct’s $12 million in online sales is less than those of a single Harvey Norman store. Milan Direct and Fidarsi Furniture might be the way of the future, but right now they’re not even a rounding error in the HVN accounts (the same applies to Kogan who’s got sales of roughly 1 Harvey Norman store). All Gerry is saying is that online sales are very small and the facts support him.”

    If online sales only amount to a rounding error in Harvey Normans accounts the it seems to supports assertions that their problems run far deeper than online trading and that online trading is being used as an excuse for poor performance.
