The team at one of my newsagencies have created a terrific display for the new partwork: Quilting Made Easy. This is at the front of the business, facing into the mall.
Why give over such premium space? Easy. This partwork is on TV. People will recall the TV ad when they walk past, step inside, purchase the partwork and most likely purchase something else. How do I know? The data tells me so. Partworks are excellent for attracting shoppers and the ,majority of these shoppers purchase other items.

We’ve already re-ordered this title. Quilting is a strong interest for our store.
This is doing well here, helped by the relatively reasonable regular price. I just tell people that if they stop halfway thru they can make a single bed size instead of the double!! Seems to work!
Going out the door happily here to, with a couple of Putaways odered already too.
Sewing in general has been VERY strong for me in the past year ( while beading is trending off), and I talk it up A LOT as I am a sewer myself ( with no time!), even had a teen say to me she wants to learn to sew so she can “Project Runway” herself !! Sewing and Cooking skills are a good way to feel as though you can beat the economy, IMHO.
AND now to get the blokes into their sheds …?

I have enquired at out local newsagent in country Vic and what met with “What is it? Can I subscribe to it online?
The newsagents Carol and Jean mention are the type that let us down. While maybe they were not sent stock they should be at least aware of these part works. If they are sub agents then that can be a different story as subbies are somewhat out of the loop as we have experienced prior to direct supply.
Is there a website I can order this from? I too cannot find a newsagency stocking this.

Same problem here, I need three so they send one! Having the same problem with Real Life Bugs, have three put-aways and have done since it started. So why do they now drop back to only giving me two??Back order is all well and good, but the customer wants it NOW.
Supply Quatities for Part Work is the most urgent issue I have with supply. After part three we should all be asked for our putaway numbers, I only have 1 quilting put away but Im still getting 6, someone else must be missing out. Inefficient, wasteful and disrespecful supply systems annoy me.
so annoyed about the distribution of this part work. Asked my local newsagent to put it aside for me – got 1 and 2 and then was away for 10 days. Got back to find only issue 5 was available!! What happened to issues 3 & 4 and how did it jump suddenly to issue 5, thought this was a fortnightly publication?? First time I have decided to get into this type of publication and was really looking forward to the projects promised in Issues 3 & 4. Now I am asked to make things that refer to previous lessons!! What a rip off!! VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER!!
