Reading this, I can’t help but think of newspaper subscribers who subscribe through publishers. They generally pay heavily-discounted prices for home delivery, but expect hi-fi-shop level of service. Delivery newsagents get paid internet prices but both the publishers and the subscribers want silver service with home delivery.
