Several newsagents have suggested that they have been told to expect The Sydney Morning Herald to have transitioned to compact (tabloid) format by the end of this month. Anyone else heard this and timing for The Age?
Mark. The feedback we heard the Herald is that they are looking to make the change to their Compact edition by early next month, but it will definitely be earlier than March next year as per their original statement.
I’ve had fixed feedback from my customers who are aware of the upcoming change.

Thought this was happening next March. Have these newsagents been told in writing, or is this just rumour?
One would think if this is true all newsagents would have been informed about it.
