Oversupply: Australian Wood Review

We have not sold out of the Australian Wood Review over the last 12 issues. Our average sales are 2. Gotch just increased us from 4 to 6. I checked the magazine and can’t see any reason for this. I am not aware of any promotion. This is oversupply in my view and an example of the kind of behaviour that can get newsagents early returning other titles to strike back. There ought to be a financial penalty for this behaviour.

Numerous titles have been grossly oversupplied today from BOTH distributors.
We won’t act in spite with returns but will be all the more vigilant and cut throat with not holding truly excess stock. For the benefit of the distributors WE DO NOT APPRECIATE THE EXTRA WORK CREATED BY OVER SUPPLY!!! It achieves nothing for any party except perhaps who ever makes money for moving this stock around. Now who would THAT be!!!!

We took our eyes off our Mag supply last month and are really feeling the pinch this week having paid huge bills. Won’t be slacking off this month, or any month in the future for that matter

Biggest bill I’ve had all year from both Network and G&G. Don’t no if there was a lot of delayed billing turning up or something all I know is thank god it wasn’t a 5 week Month for newspapers.
