Newsagents appreciate ParcelPoint

Check out the YouTube video of three newsagents speaking about their ParcelPoint experiences.

ParcelPoint was the first newsagent parcel pickup service launched for newsagents. It is freight company agnostic.

There appears to be two separate Parcel Delivery proposals. N Parcel (I think toll) and Parcel Point. What is the difference between the two if they are two separate entities and what is their plan/s proposals for Newsagents.

N Parcel is Toll and only available to newsagents through the associations. Parcel Point is freight company agnostic and is available direct. Parcel point was first to market.

Will one do the other or are they going to operate different networks to each other.

Different networks. In my view associations should get being associations right before they head off into commercial activity.

Is one exclusive to the other or can you have both. I know with N Parcel you can not be a LPO. By the way with associations I think you are right in some of your recent comments.

Actually Peter, as an LPO I can’t be either Parcel Point or N Parcel. Its part of the agreement we sign with Aust Post. While I can have my own stock etc couriered to the shop, I can’t be a depot for anyone other than Aust Post. Which is a pain because at least parcel point pays per parcel…

Parcel Point does not require any change to your insurance. My understanding is that the Toll N Parcel service does.
