A panorama view of my newsagency

Check out a panorama view of one of my newsagencies yesterday. This captures the focus of the business and shows off how present product and don’t rely too much on posters in-store.

This store is three months in and delivering an excellent GP, well above industry average.

I know it’s only the effect of the camera shot but don’t the walls look great curved like that.

interesting product mix, I can only see magazines on the back. Where do you display the bulky part works and weekly mags? Also how high are the top 2 shelves of the magazine wall. I imagine those who are vertically challenged might have trouble reaching them.

Gary our magazine pockets are deep – we can fit 20 – 25 copies of the weeklies in a pocket.

We put partworks in a CDU for the launch issue.

We have a higher than average for a newsagency staff time on the shop floor to help shoppers reach what they need.

This store was build to achieve a GP target. hence the floorspace allocation.
