Here’s why caravan magazines are important to newsagents

Caravans are hot right now as an article in The Age today shows. They’re in – Motorhomes, caravans and retro caravans.

Since newsagents have the best range of magazine titles in this space we should check where we have it and consider promoting it more – including the wonderful Vintage Caravan Magazine.  This is an opportunity, a point of difference, for us to embrace.

Not sure where to put this, but in reference to magazines, I have just visited a local Woolworths store and they have boxes of football cards on every counter?? I was of the opinion that they were a newsagency exclusive product. This will impact on the sales of newsagents!!

Nope, not exclusive. What I said the two major supermarkets would do they are doing with the help of our suppliers.

Caravanning is a huge growth industry centered around grey nomads with a keen interest in all things RV.
If you have a local Caravaning Club, promote your products as widely as possible, there is a deep interest, believe me….;-)

    Caravans go gangbusters here
I try to fullface everything and shift them around a lot to keep the display fresh, and I notice a lot of sales are for more than one title.
Along with Vintage Caravan, there are other vintage titles which can be grouped together. I think blokes of a certain age have a yen to tinker with old stuff (cars/buses/tractors) and a good cover will sell extra.
