Frustrating bagged magazine pack from Bauer

I heard from my newsagencies yesterday about the bagged discount pack of Woman’s Day and AWW. It frustrates me that I have no control on receiving these bagged discount packs. They take time and space & are loss-making for us. It is unreasonable that I’m forced into this situation. Every newsagent ought to be able to cancel these bagged discount packs if we wish.

I got cut 10 WD and got 10 bag packs instead. Not bloody happy.

How do you handle returning them?

either early return and remove future allocations or break the bag to sell individually to make up for the shortfall.

imo the gross oversupply of junk titles and under supply of part works remains the bigger problem.

All topped and top from 2nd mag stapled to first and then counted as x bagged title.

We barely get enough WD to sell these days anyway, but this week sold out today Tuesday, left with the double pack only. Then 2 customers refused to purchase the pack, wanting WD only. I am reviewing how to hand these, it’s tricky.

UNPACK and sell if that is what customer demands then go with it . Might be wrong but each to there own . I would much rather have a happy customer

Yeah it’s odd how they starve you at one end and drown you at the other.

Has anyone arrived magazines for tomorrows delivery ? Just wanted to know if anyone has received another gross oversupply of diaries from Bauer ? I know these are all on delayed billing but the amount of diaries i have received over the last month is just outright obscene. Starting to get really sick of all these delayed billing mags coming through. It wouldnt be so bad if they sent a reallistic supply level.

Yep: Build Home Victoria delayed bill in QLD – are they thinking that Queenslanders are planning to build homes in Victoria.
