Non-compliant use of magazine co. stand by Coles

cmagI’ve noticed Coles using this publisher provided stand to host their free titles like Baby Toddler title placement I saw a while back. This would upset publisher reps if found in a newsagency. I support suppliers take – stands they supply should be used for products they supply.

Wait! Only last week you posted about repurposing supplier stands.

Your consistency in advice is poor. This blog is ever so quickly turning into a soap box for your gripes!

Maria – two different topics. last week it was about repurposing an old stand for which there was no more stock. This post here is about how Coles is using a stand funded by a publisher.

In both cases paid for by a supplier

No, the first was funded through stock for one off use and what I do with it after that was up to me. They were happy for me to throw it away.
