The never-ending challenge of new titles

IMG_9988 (1)IPS agreed to immediate return of two new titles we will never sell and for which we did not have space. While IPS permits adjustments prior to supply, the window is too sort. To their credit, IPS sorted this out. We need a better solution.

IPS did seem to be improving 6-12 months ago and when they announced that we would be able to zero supply after 2 issues of no sales from 1/7/2015 I thought it would be a step forward. Problem is you still cant zero supply after 2 issues as promised but if you were on the send no new titles list you are now back to receiving new titles. There was a “send no new titles list” for those that don’t know, I got told by the MD I’d be put on it after getting very pissed of with IPS. I think it was IPS way of greasing the squeaking wheels.
Well I wrote 2 emails to customer service and 1 to the MD in the last 2 weeks asking about zeroing supply and so far no reply. Tomorrow I’m going to have to ring up and this particular wheel is going to be very squeaky. I’d ring today but its a public holiday here in the west so I think I’ll just have a beer instead and forget about it till tomorrow.

Ips is the worst magazine supplier, i still have unresolve issue with them regarding 4wd mags and the saturday paper , they think we ate those mags without returning them. i would rather they close my account than paying them those unresolve issues.
