Messy. Looks dirty and tacked on.
Live plants with the watering, dirt and limited shelf life in newsagency is a step to far.
Wow Glenn are we looking at the same photo. Not dirty. Not tacked on. What matters most is customer interaction – they love it. Oh, and no watering required.
If they are selling – that’s a good thing.
I see they are suculants, however how does a live plant not require watering?
They are not live.

How do you feed the live monkeys, teddy’s and unicorns that are also in the photo? Animal welfare…
