No, Tatts is not promoting your business online

Here are recent tweets from Tatts via their TheLott Twitter handle, promoting online purchases. No mention of retail. Your branding commitment adds value to their online marketing, for online purchases. This is your competition:

Oh, and here is one that popped up in the Twitter feed on my phone this morning:

The Use App button is what they want you to press, that is their call to action.

Weeks ago I mentioned the mass amount of new positions being created at Tatts solely for the purpose of advertising online gambling.

When are the associations going to grow some balls and demand a percentage of all online sales be returned to the retail sector that actually produces 85% of income.

Tatts is following the same successful business plan of “use and abuse the Newsagency sector and diminish commission”, which has been used by Newspaper & Magazine publishers.

Amanda my understanding is that such submissions have ben made many times. An association is only as strong as those who fund it to act on their behalf.

The lack of outrage shown by this “industry” is insane!
Mark how many do you think are left willing to fund an association that hasnt managed to resolve any of the major problems we have had since forever.
Its hard to see that an association, whose main focus appears to be producing a glossy magazine , would do battle with some of the major sponsors of said magazine .
Personally I stopped paying membership after on the few occasions I needed their help I was basically told I was on my own.
I imagine that ALNA watch this space ,if so would somebody please reply.Show you have at least some bit of spine.

    Pat,

The channel has numerous organisations within it purporting to be acting for benefit of all newsagents. Each and all are in truth acting on behalf of their key members and financial backers.

Colin there are marketing groups that act as marketing groups. There is a franchise group that operates as a franchise group. There are associations that act as associations. Not all of those listed above has any interest in or connection with serving newsagent needs re Tatts. Only the leadership of each of the groups can speak for what they do.
